Looking forward to doing everything, but much easier. LOL Riding with my honey on his motorcycle, playing tennis again, riding a bike, walk without my thighs rubbing, tie shoes effortlessly, buy clothes in "normal" stores, not standing out in a crowd due to my weight, etc. How has this OH Community impacted your journey? Made oodles of new friends, gotten support from people *****ally understand what it's like to be "this big." Thanks you guys. xoxo

Being able to keep up with my 3 children, walk upstairs without any pain, not having shortness of breath by walking my block and back, buying normal sized clothing...etc.... How has this OH Community impacted your journey? This site has been great, I have had many questions and those questions have always been answered or someone has pointed me in the direction to get the answers!! Anything additional you are looking for from this online community? To meet new friends in my area to build long lasting friendships with.

I have a list a hundred miles long!!! Along with all the things the fellow OH members have said before me, I want to add: feeling comfortable in my own skin, I want to look more attractive for my hubby(he loves me just the way I am). I want to feel confident in my appearence, I want to be able to look at a picture of myself and NOT have the first thing that enters my mind be, "God, I'm so FAT!!!" Get in better shape, build my indurance and be healthy for me and my family!!! How has this OH Community impacted your journey? It is so great to come on here and read about the different experiences that people have had with WLS and get all the info before I actually have my surgery. And it is so nice to have a community of people going through the same things I am going through and have the support of everyone! Anything additional you are looking for from this online community? Just some genuine friends that can support me and I can support them in this journey to a healthier lifestyle.

Type of Surgery: RNY Who is your WLS: Dr. Tim Kuwada- Charlotte Medical Center - (CMC) What are able or looking forward to doing after WLS: Cross my legs, Wear cloths in my closet that I have keep.(Cloths that did not go out of style). A regular pair of jeans that are not stretch type. Wear a belt, A top tucked in. Get off my blood pressure and Wellbutin medicine. Go to my 40th class reunion in 2010 and look good. There are to many to list. Just look good and healthy at 55 and the next 35 years. Darn it!! I'm worth it! How has this OH Community impacted you journey? Everyone has give me self-worth and self-esteem thru this journey. To continue to make life long friendships and to be motivated to stay on course. When I feel down, I come on and check out the forum. I feel priviliage to be part of empathtic, supportive, and most of all, FUNNY community of people and articles that lift my spirits up. I can't wait to learn more!!!
