Should I or shouldn't I...
Wendy, You are so right! This is about be comfortable with ourselves. I think that what has happened is I don't feel much different than I did a month ago. I want to at least feel some progress. However, patience has never been my virtue. I think I need to work on this relationship with a scale as much as I do my relationship with food. Thanks for your insight... Candice

I have to say that I have a scale. I have found myself slave to it at times. One of the things that has really worked for me is to just "chart" my weight once a week. I find I don't get on and of 10 times a day that way. Charting it once a week ... Check my profile. You'll see the table I use to chart it ... anyway, charting once a week helps me see the bigger picture. I can see ... with that bit of perspective, that I tend to drop some weight and then I hold for a while, then I drop again. It helps me see some tangible progress ...sometimes I just don't see it in the mirror or even my clothes.
I guess what I'm trying to say, is if you can use it as a tool that helps you see your progress vs. something you flog yourself with, go for it. I flogged myself for a while, now it's just a tool.
