You are right ...There are some WLS Cookbooks and they are harder to find than a needle in a haystack ... LOL

If you go the search bar at the top of this site enter "cookbook" and be sure to click the OH button so that you are searching the OH site and not the whole WWW you will find a number of threads/postings about WLS Cookbooks and where to get them.

Personally, I have gotten a South Beach Diet cookbook and an Atkins cookbook because they have so much focus on protien. I tend to modify the recipes somewhat if they see to be too high in fat.

I hope that this helps. If you need more help, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

If you find one that you think is particularly interesting/good please let me know.

Good luck!

There is a book called Before & After by Susan Maria Leach. It tells about her WLS and has a lot of great recipes. I found this book  thru Jennifer. Maureen

That is an excellent book, isn't it?  It has recipes and a wonderful story by the author.  You almost feel that she is writing about YOU.  I highly recommend it.

You can also check out Chef David Fouts "Culinary CLassics: A Cookbook for Gastric Bypass Patients".

He's had GBS, also. Google him or review the book on Amazon.

Happy cooking and loosing!
