I agree!! I would like to see more in the Charlotte area. but not in a hospital setting... 
I'm game. I'm still "hoping" to have surgery...and I'm in process of getting things checked off my list...so it would be great to meet with others going through this or been there done this.

Earthfare off Johnston Rd has a support group... I believe its the 3rd Tuesday of the month... you can check the calander in the store for more info. They all also an MSN group.
Presby Hospital has a support group the 3rd Monday of every month at 630p... this is the one I attend and I love it... I know its not exactly the Pineville area but you can zip right down Providence and be there in no time!
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)
1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)
