OT: Many prayers needed. . .

Hello all.  I know I have been MIA for a while now.  Just been really busy with lots of "life" things.  Anayway, as most of you may or may not know, my hubby and I have been seperated for a while now but remain very good friends.  He stayed with me at the hospital during my surgery and he is always there for me if I need him.  Well, today he needed me.  He called me at work this morning to tell me that he was on his way to the E.R. because he has been suffering from severe diarreha (sp.) and this morning when he had a b.m. it was nothing but bright red blood.  He was very scared and crying because colon cancer runs in his family.  So I told him I would meet him at the E.R. and that is where we spent our day.  They did 3 extremely painful rectal exams on him in the E.R. and did find a mass.  They admitted him to the hospital and plan on doing a colonoscopy on him along with a battery of other tests tomorrow.  His brother is staying with him at the hospital tonight as I have to get my 14 year old son to school in the morning and then I plan on heading back to the hospital.  I have never in my life heard a grown man scream in pain like he did today.  It really ripped my heart out.  I would ask that if you pray, please send up an extra one for him.  He is a good person and he just kept telling me how much he loved me today and it ripped my heart out.  I stayed strong for him all day today but cried my eyes out on the way home and am still crying as I type this now.  I am really scared for him.  Thanks guys for your prayers and I'll try to post again real soon. Donna we have missed you and I'm very sorry to hear your news. Your family is your focus and you need to be there for them. Know that you, your husband and family are in my thoughts and prayers. Don't forget to take time out for yourself during all of this, you need to keep yourself healthy.

Donna,      I am SO sorry for the pain your husband is having to endure right now. I will pray for you guys and your family. I hope that his tests results will come out OK and perhaps it is just a pollop(SP????). Anyhow, just continue to be there for him and try and hold yourself together as best you can. I know this is difficult for you too. something like this effects everyone. Again I am sorry and wishing the best for your family! Lisa
