Sleep Appt.

 Well, I went to see Dr. Stern this morning. I really liked him. So Young!! Good looking too. I only have one problem. I can't get my sleep study done til Sept 3rd. Here comes another month. I  won't get my surgery done til Oct.  It seems to just  drag on and on and on. I suppose it could be worse. I will just appericate it more when the time does come. ( That's what I keep telling myself).

Keep the faith. It will happen. Do you have other comorbidities, if I may ask? I wish you luck on your quest to get this done!!!! Lisa

Hey Lisa, I will keep the faith. I do have high blood pressure that is controlled by medications. Hope to get off them. Maureen

Maureen - I feel for ya! Seems like it's always one thing or another. You'll get there...just takes time. When I first started this process I was delusional enough to think that I would have surgery within a month or 1 1/2 months. How wrong I was...roadblocks.  Hang in there, we'll have our turn!

I'll folllow your advice. There has been people that have taken longer than you and I. Maureen

Maureen....  good things come to those who wait.  :)  And at least you will have your surgery when it is cooler!  These 106 degree days are rough on the new system!!  Keep your chin up girl.  Things will be fine!

I know how you feel. My chart has been on Dr. B's desk since June 8.....It has so much dust on it , I doubt he can read it. I thought I would wiz in and out ....have my surgery by July and skinny by August... HA..HA.......but now I am just praying to have it so I don't have to pay my dedutable again.  I had NO idea we had to wait like this. Good Luck Myrtis

Myrtis, Just keep on bugging them. They will get to the point they will get it in. I feel that it might be a sign and I should just go with what they have in store for my jounery.

Myrtis - Now that seems  like a veeeeeery long time to sit on the desk. Have you called the office at all. I would make sure that each time you call that you tell them that your concerned about getting the surgery before your deductible is due. I was going to be skinny by the 4th of July....LOL! I'd like to see it by the end of Sept. but my MAIN goal is to be back to normal.....13 yrs ago....by April, it my big 40! I want to be healthy and active when I enter into that period of my life. 40 the new ?
