I have another question

If your insurance (CIGNA) is paying for all the testing leading up to the WLS, is that a good sign that they would cover it with no issues?  And also if they respond to the submissions that the various different places are submitting to them for payment within 5 days, will the actual surgey get that fast a response as well?  Thanks in advance for all responses.  I hope everyone is having a great night... The only way to know if insurance will cover the procedure is to ask them.  The tests leading up to surgery being covered is not an indication of whether they will cover anything to do with the surgery.  When I had my tests done, the codes that were used to order the test had nothing to do with weight loss surgery.  They were codes that had to do with ailments that the test would detect if you had any abnormalties with the test.  I am still having trouble getting my insurance straightened out to cover my surgery from Jan.  The doctor has been paid but the hospital has filed the claim wrong 3 times and I am still working on getting it straightened out.  My tests were done and approved immediately.  Good Luck on your journey.
