Congratualtions on your approval. I am sure that it will help you make a huge life change. I can relate to the loss of your dad ... Mine died at 58 ... way to young. I started this because last year I was diagnosed with diabetes as well as another condition my father had... they both contributed to his death. On top of that my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure ... that was it! I knew I couldn't "fool" myself anymore. My youngest is 13, the boys are 25 ... Still way to young to loose mom.

I have to say that I'm very glad that I had WLS. Early on, I questioned my decsion, but as time goes by and I'm off all of my diabetic meds, I know I made the right decision.

I'm sure that the same will hold true for you too.

I hope to see you on the board more in the furture. I also hope that we'll see you at a support group meeting sometime in the future.
