FINALLY.....

After speaking to someone on Sat. at Jenny Craig, they said things would be taken care of on Monday.  Well Monday came and went and nothing.  So this morning once again for the millionth time I called.  Well the director guy told the woman on the phone that he couldn't print out the screen I wanted.  So then I asked can't you just write down what my starting weight was blah blah blah.  I mean in a world of computer technology you would think something this simple would be simple.  The woman on the phone said she would relay the message to Carol, the director, heard that one before.  Then she said if I don't hear something by 5 call back.  So I was out all day with my daughter and we came back and nothing on the ans. machine or fax.  Called again and spoke directly with Carol.  She said she has what I need, but.... ready for this... am I sure this is what I want to do.  She had a friend/client that went to Peru and had it done and he died and many of her clients now are WLS people.  Then she said you know the risks involved???  No lady, I decided this on a flippin' whim.  She asked if I would call once I had the surgery to let her know I was "okay", let me fit that into my schedule.  So after all that the fax FINALLY came.  Now first thing tomorrow morning I can mail out my first and hopefully only appeal.  Everyone... keep your toes, finger and whatever else you can think of crossed.

Good luck with your appeal, Michelle. Glad you finally got the Jenny Craig thing resolved, even though Carol thinks you shouldn't do surgery....lol. No, she just thinks you should continue doing JC  with the 5% success rate, which would mean back and back again to JC or whatever other program. It is very easy from the outside to criticize what people do it seems. Especially when it comes to this. There is nothing easy about this path. It gets tiring defending our choices. I hope you have an awesome appeal written and that everything works out for you! Lisa

Thanks Lisa.  My appeal letter is practically perfect being an English teacher has helped.  She did first start of the conversation are you sure you don't want to come back to the program?  LOL  Thanks again.

let that be a lesson to all of you. stay away from peru.

I am glad you FINALLY got the fax!!! and who is Carol to suddenly counsel you and give you a bunch of nonsense ??? I cant believe the nerve!!!!! Im glad you got your stuff and best of luck to you sweetie!!
