I know....MIA AGAIN!!!

Hello everyone! I'm an admitted lurker for the last couple of weeks.

At last, after almost three weeks I FEEL LIKE CANDICE AGAIN!

I am ready to run with it! It's a good thing because I go back to work on Monday! I don't know how much weight I have lost. I haven’t weighed since 7/27 but I will find out on Friday at my four week post op. I promised myself that I wouldn't become slave to the scale but it is KILLING MEEEE to know!!

My mom's flight back to CA is scheduled for tomorrow. I am SOOO sad about this. Before it was just another thing that she was going back. Now it is like....NOOOOOO!!! I am thinking about changing her flight and holding her hostage. I am happy to see that everyone is so active here and look forward to meeting everyone on Saturday!! Happy Tuesday! Candice

You have been very strong willed to have gone four weeks without stepping on the scales. I hope you have a wonderful loss. I will be watching to see if you post it. Sorry your mom is leaving but you sure are lucky to have had her stay with you. She sounds wonderful. I hope she has a safe trip home. Glad you are feeling better. Beth

Hi Candice, Good luck tomorrow.  Don't forget that the # on the scales is not the real picture.  Be sure to take your last "scale slip" with you.  I was amazed that I had gained a good amount of lean muscle mass, but that goes into the weight loss as a plus, not a minus  Doc Mitchell is right, it is the whole picture you need, not just the weight on the scales.
