Gastric Reflux
I have had an incredible recovery so far until today... I can't seem to stomach any liquids. I get gurgling in my pouch then up my throat. Called Dr. today and they are giving me prilosec. Said it could be gastric reflux. Anybody experience this? Also had bad case of runs today as well.

This past thursday my stomach started burning and cramping... it was so bad that on Friday they sent me for a CT... came back normal... they gave me prilosec and chalked it up to gastric reflux... Ive been taking the Prilosec since Friday and today is the first day I actucally feel better. They told me to take Malox as well.. but that didnt do anything for me... I had some chewable rolaids and that helped a little!
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)
1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)
