final update

I had the CT Scan and everything looks "normal"... so they called in the prevacid and I just got back from picking it up. I am hoping that tomorrow I will feel a little better but the nurse said it can take up to 3 days to work *sigh*. I am thankful it wasnt anything more serious... thanks for all your well wishes!

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Glad to hear everything went well for you! They say that it could take up to three days to be effective but in my experiences I've seen it usually work with the first dose. I hope this holds true for you! Best Wishes...

I'm glad to hear everything is "normal"...  I had to take Prilosec for a little while but things straightened themeselves out.

I'm sorry that the meds will take 3 days to work, but I sure am glad to hear that they didn't find anything seriously wrong. I hope that you will be able to get some relief and rest this week-end.
