Question about the Ticker

Got a quick question, how do you include your ticker with your comments, I copied the code, but that is exactly what is showing up, just the code Thanks

Here's the instructions I found on the RNY board:

First you must go to a site that has tickers like www.tickerfactory.com or www.tickercentral.com 

Once you have made a ticker and want to add it to your signature line you would do the following.

Highlight the ticker you want to use off the ticker site

Once you have highlighted the ticker, you want to right click and click "copy"

Then go to ObesityHelp's main message board, on the left hand side click on "user settings".  This is the area you will want to paste your ticker into.

You would then click on the signature box and right click to highlight paste to put your ticker into the signature box.

After right clicking and selecting paste the ticker should then appear and then click on "save" at the bottom to keep it.  You will notice below that you must check "enable my signature" for it to show up.

Important note: on some browsers you might have to press CTRL + C (to copy) and CTRL + V (to paste) images.

Barbara, I followed your instructions. It seemed to copy and paste ok. But, I don't know if it worked! That's why I am testing it. If it doesn't, what did I do wrong. Thanks

Thats what I did before I got the hang of it, as above, you copy and paste the picture of the ticker itself, not the codes in the boxes. Nancy
