MORE UPDATES FROM THE HOSPITAL

Good afternoon Team!  Wish I had better news for you.  I feel as though Wonder Woman is letting you down here!   Had another leak test this morning and FAILED again!  It is such a minute leak they can't even see it on the xray, it shows up when they xray the pouch on my drain and both times have shown contrast medium in the pouch.  What this means is that I am NPO for at least the rest of the week, and will continue to be fed through the PICT line.  The surgeon said this could go on through the beginning of next week as well.  I am not happy.  The man who is caring for my animals is also not happy and is letting me know it. The good news is that I feel fine and have no symptoms of there being anything wrong.  No pain, no fever, no infection.  Yet.  But they have me on massive doses of antibiotics as a preventative.  It's a waiting game at this stage.  Don't want to think of any other outcome than that this leak will heal while we wait. Please continue to keep me in your prayers.  Love you guys!

Oh.. Suzanne.  I will continue to pray for you.  I know things will work out for the best.

I'm glad that you are in the hospital and that your doctor is being as careful as he is. The person watching your animals can get over it. (If  for some reason he decides to bail, you can probably arrange for a vet tech from your vet to care for them if you don't have a back up plan.)
