GRRR....

I posted last week that my doctor's office told me I could be a part of this NIH study (get paid for it) and that it would expedite my insurance submission because of it. Well, I had a nagging feeling that this was not correct and found out today IT WASN'T!!!

Insurance is submitted like normal (did find out they are working on it though) and then found out I can't be a part of the study since I take Synthroid.  Why didn't the girl see that on my chart?!?!?!?  It invalidates me for the study!  I strongly suggested to both people I talked with to please talk to the lab tech who talked to me about the study and get her "up to date" on the procedures. Moral:  If your gut tells you something is not right, listen to it!

While I'm sorry about your disappointment regarding your eligibility to participate in the study, I am glad that your paperwork is "in the works." I look forward to hearing that it's been submitted and approved!
