Im DONE with Pre Op testing.. bad experience at Ultrasound today

Good for you Darcie for reporting this. Sounds to me like the only reason she had another tech come in was to defend her in case her bedside manner was questioned. The tech who did your ultrasound should be questioned about this and hopfully repremanded. When I had some of my extra skin removed I woke up in recovery and wanted my husband. The people who worked in there were very nasty to me and only let him come back when they said he could. None of them had name tags on and it wasent my imagination. I did report them to patient relations.                                  Annie

Darcie, I'm sorry you had a bad experience!  I would have complained too, they need to be more professional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I work on base and have to deal with USNH a lot.  I'm glad that your NUT said everything was a go and you're on your way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darcie, I just read the rest of your posts...  (note to self, read all before you reply... lol)...  Anyway, just so you know...  I'm a civilian on Lejeune (main side) and we're not all bad... YIKES!    But I understand why you feel that way, I have had my share of civilians just being on the job for the paycheck and could care less about their professionalism or at least customer service with a smile...  I hope you're next experience is better!  Take care girl!

I know not everyone that is a Civi is bad I put that in my post because Linda thought it was a Navy person that was being mean. LOL I had to go to the ER last night with these bruised ribs.. that girl really did a number on me and I hope she gets busted down.
