OH THE NURSES and assistants and whoever they are UGH!!!!!!

why do they lie.. I found out today that NO-ONE has done ANYTHING that they were  "SUPPOSED" to do.. I can scream and cry all at the same time..

First-I went to my new pcp and she was very delightful and helpful to start me on my way with making my appointments and things of that nature that I needed done..

Well today I called to see if my medical records had come back.. OF course NO ONE EVER received a medical release form from my new pcp(which by the way i KNOW they are LYING..I stood there and watched her fax it over... So now I'm begging my new pcp nurse to re-fax all the medical release forms so my OLD doctors can send in my medical records.. what a headache!!!!! without those records i can't get a 5 year weight history and proceed even though I have ALL the test that I need so far schedule like my venous duplex, gall baldder ultrasound, cbc-tsh, chest x-ray and ekg.. what's the point of going through of all this if i can't even make a schedule with Dr. mILES..

I just want to cry!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry for what you are going through already. Not to make light of your situation, but "welcome to the process!" Granted, not all people have had to fight tooth and nail with their doctor's office, but it is quite a popular topic on the boards. You just gotta stay on top of everything with them. I wish I was doing more than I was, and now I have been denied. You gotta fight sometimes for what you want. I hope you're up to it...you deserve it! GO GET 'EM!! Love Love Love Mare

I agree with mare you have to stay on top of it and get copies of everything . I even went as far as getting my own fax line and did my own faxing so I knew what had been sent and what was still needed. Yes this is worth it because we are talking about your life. I fought my battle getting a surgery date for 3 years but I hung in there. Everyone's story is different but hang in there and dont give up.                                                                         Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?
