Did anyone have Dr. Miles for thier doctor?

Just wondering.. I took my packet to his office yesterday and dropped it off there.. I met this lady who said she lost over 165lbs. and said he was a very nice doctor and not to be nervous.. Well last night was my sleep apnea test.. they had the results but couldn't tell me.. YEAH LOL so he said my doctor will be calling me with those results...all he said was you snore but it's not the worse that i've heard, and if i need a cpap that i would have to come back in and have another study but with the machine.. so waiting on that.. just wondering how long did it take for you to have your first consultation with him or a group consult if that's the way he does it? all i need now is my diet course which his nurse said they will schedule.. and my  gall bladder ultrasound which i'm waiting on my pcp to call and give me an update on, if they schedule it or if i schedule it myself,  and my mental health eval.. so i'm waiting!!!! have a blessed day

Although I live in Wilmington , I chose to have my surgery in Concord, due to the stats of my doc- he's done a lot of LapBands. Most folks locally seem to use Dr Harris, if they are going the RNY route. He just did Suzanne's surgery 2 days ago. My internist strongly recommneded Dr Harris, but he does not do the Band. There are a few people on the Boards who are pts of Dr Miles- hopefully they can offer some insights. Good luck with all the pre-op stuff.... Sheila
