Off to insurance I go.....

Well, I saw Dr. Chapman this afternoon and it's off to insurance my paperwork goes.  The interesting thing was that their obesity clinic is participating in a NIH trial on WLS with diabetic patients.  Don't ask me all the specifics because it was too confusing for me.

The interesting part was that they said I qualify to be part of the control group and that my paperwork gets sent to insurance faster (have to wait one week the regular route for it to be submitted) and they hope to have an answer for me by the middle of next week.  The person that handles the submission also fights for you with the insurance company should I get denied.

I will wait and see.......
