Newbie saying hello!

Hi all. I have been reading all of these encouraging posts, and felt it was time I join in. I am having lapband done August 8th (woo-hoo) at Rex hospital in Raliegh. Dr. Moran is doing my surgery. I am nervous, but ready! Now tell me more about these angels I here of. Thanks.

Hi Kim, Welcome to the boards. Congratulations on your upcoming banding. An angel is someone that keeps up with your progress while you are in the hospital and can update the boards with your progress. You can just ask someone to volunteer. Sometimes people use local people, but it doesn't have to be. Good luck. Lisa

Hi Kim. Dr. Moran is great. He did my RNY on July 2nd. You are so lucky to be able to go to Rex. I had to go to Franklin Regional but they were great. It's just so convenient here in Raleigh. You are in excellent hands with him. I had NO soreness afterwards just plenty of gas pains but that eases quickly. Good luck and WELCOME to the board. Jennifer
