Suzanne is home!!! After only 1 day!

Suzanne called me today around noon. She is doing incredible!!! Up walking, sipping, had a good leak test and was DISCHARGED today! Barely 24hrs post-op! I am so proud and happy for her!!! She did go home with 1 drain, but that's not going to dampen her vest for recovery! She thanks everyone for their support, calls and prayers. She should be back in person , on the boards tomorrow! As of right now, she is even planning to make an appearance at the pot luck on Sat! Nancy is in Charlotte, surgery scheduled for tomorrow and her husband ,Leon, will call me when she's in recovery- so I'll post her success as it evolves! It's been a good week for the surgery folks! That is awesome about Suzanne!!!! wow one day and going home!! I just called Nancy on her cell but I imagine shes probably gone to bed but I did leave her a GO NANCY GO message that she can listen to in the morning thanks for the update Sheila!!!
