Back from Greenville~ HUHRAH for GOOD NURSES!!

Im back from my Endoscopy and want to say a shout out to all the fantastic (except for one) nurses at PCMH. I had a great nurse start my IV and she must of been sent from God because before she moved over to the GI unit she worked in Infant ICU so my small crappy tiny veins were not even a issue for her I was not scared of the Endoscopy.... the IV was my biggest phobia LOL it always has been and always will!!! I BEGGED them to let me take home some of that wonderful drug they gave me!! They said everyone wants some that gets it! I remember going into the room for the procedure and getting that put in my IV and I was out like a light. Dr. Leong was very nice and Im glad its over!!! anyways thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers on a easy IV time

That's great darcie!!!! It sure feels good when you get a procedure done you're worried about, huh?  Hopefully not much more for you to do!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Glad to hear all went well.  That "wonderful drug" is probably Versed.. and alas I am allergic to it.  Therefore I went unsedated for my EGD.  It was still easy though.  Glad things went well!

Yep it was the good ole Versed... I have never had it before and cant recall a thing that happened today after they put it in my IV LOL

LMAO at babyveins yep thats me LOL you are right Mare i only have a few more things to do and two of them are being done this Friday so I am ALMOST finished with all of these tests!!! I found out today that my surgeons office is now getting my packet together to submit to insurance so just need the last few items and Ill be sitting around waiting and pacing the floor LOL
