Weight Loss is Not a Competiton
Diane -
I agree it's not a competition. We do just have to take care of ourselves. I'm sorry that you had such a negative experience.
I hope that you will resume posting. I really miss your encouragement and words of wisdom.
I look forward to seeing you later this week. When you have a few minutes give me a call and we can work out the details.
Your friend,
Barb

Diane, I agree with you. This is NOT a competition, but there will always be those few that have to inflate themselves by doing better than everyone else. It makes them feel better somehow. I was thinking about this the other day. How I cannot compare my weight loss to anyone else. We are all SO very different and metabolize differently. Don't let these people ruin things for you. Realize they are obviously struggling with their own demons that they have to one-up everyone. You are doing great....and I have no idea how much you've lost.....lol. But, I know you are doing great because you did something quite radical to take control of your health. This is no easy task and anyone that says we have taken the easy road out has NO clue. Continue to post(not your weight loss if you don't wanna) but don't let these people take any joy out of what you have accomplished!
