Denial is a powerful thing...

...But I cannot deny that in less than 24 hours, I will have had my surgery!  GULP! I have kept myself busy all day pureeing chicken and veggies from all that beautiful broth I made.  Then I froze them in 2 oz containers, so once I get past the clear broth stage, I can add some of that yummy pureed chicken to it!  Made jello.  And pudding.  All sugar-free, of course.  Have been drinking crystal lite and diet nestea green tea all day long til I am feeling slightly nauseous!  But they told me to overhydrate to make it easier to get the IV catheter in, and that's what I am gonna do! I want to thank all of you guys for your words of support and encouragement.  Please keep me in your prayers tomorrow morning.  Surgery is at 10:15.  Sheila is my "unofficial" angel and I will have my caregiver call her so she can update you all as updates become available.  I will be thinking of you guys with affection as I go to sleep... Love you all!
