Chiropractor appointment

Saw the chiropractor today and I must admit I was very impressed with him.

He was very caring and knowledgable.

He took xrays of my back which he said showed one of my disk has been forced forward.

Also I got a TENS unit for pain managment which I have used before and found it to be very helpful. he isnt sure he will be able to help me much by normal techniques but he agrees the surgery will help a great deal so once again wls gets another plus.

I did explain what I did in Curves as a twisting movement and I asked did this cause this to happen he said yes.

He will see me again tomorrow and may try some things to help.

I went to my PT and did some more excersises and to tell you the truth they seemed to help.

So with the excersises and my tens unit I hope  to be able to do the walking after surgery.

Sounds like you are moving in the right direction Annie!!  Glad the chiropactor was able to help you out.  So this all happened because of Curves????  That is scary!!  I had thought about joining there afte the surgeon releases me to do more exercises other than walking.  Maybe I should rethink that course of action, huh??    Anyways, hope this all helps your pain and gets you moving again! Hugs, Donna

That is good news, Annie.  My husband uses a Tens unit on his shoulder. He had 2 surgeries on his rotary cup almost 20 years ago. (Dropped 9 stories in an elevator fall - eeeeek!) It gives him much relief.  Glad it seems to be helping you.  Mary Ann
