UPDATE ON CANDICE!

I JUST WANT TO SAY HOW VERY MUCH I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU FOR THE  CONCERN SHOWN FOR CANDICE.  IT HAS MEANT SO MUCH TO CANDICE AND MYSELF FOR ALL THE HELP GIVEN  DURING HER PROCESS. I PRAY GOD WILL BLESS YOU ALL AND KEEP YOU IN HIS LOVING CARE. I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING AS MANY OF YOU AS I CAN. IT IS REALLY HARD TO BE AWAY FROM CANDICE AND I MISS HER SO MUCH WHEN IM NOT HERE. I WOULDNT ALLOW HER TO GO THROUGH THIS ALONE FOR ANYTHING, CANDICE AND I FEEL EXTREMELY BLESSED TO  HAVE YOU ALL IN HER LIFE. TAKE CARE, RENA' **UPDATE** CANDICE'S FEVER HAS ONLY GONE TO 101 TODAY AND IS BEING CONTROLLED WITH TYLENOL WHICH IS A GOOD THING.SHE IS RECEIVING LIQUID ANITBIOTICS,AND IS GETTING TUBE FEEDING,SHE IS STILL BEING HYDRATED WITH THAT GOOD OLE WATER SOLUTION..AND AS BARB SAID THE MORPHINE DRIP. THEY HAVE GOTTEN HER OUT OF BED TODAY AND SAT HER IN THE CHAIR FOR A FEW HOURS AND THEN WALKED HER WHILE I WAS OUTSIDE. DURING WHICH TIME SHE BECAME DIZZY AND BEFORE THEY COULD GET THE WHEELCHAIR UNDER HER COMPLETELY SHE ENDED UP ON THE WHEELS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WHEELCHAIR WHERE YOU PUT YOUR FEET. ALWAYS WHEN I LEAVE HER. LOL.SHE IS STILL PRETTY WEAK BUT SEEMS TO NOT BE IN AS MUCH PAIN AS SHE WAS BEFORE WE GOT TO THE HOSPITAL.I THINK SHE CAN HAVE VISITORS AND PHONE CALLS WHEN SHE FEELS LIKE IT, OTHERWISE, YOU WILL PROBABLY GET TO TALK TO ME.LOL RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT SHE IS SLEEPING AND I AM VERY GRATEFUL TO SEE HER RESPONDING TO ALL THE MEDICATION. I WILL UPDATE IF I CAN IT WILL BE GREAT WHEN CANDICE IS BACK TO HER PERKY SELF AND SHE WILL BE POSTING AWAY!

Thanks for keeping us posted. I know this is scary. I do believe Candice is in good hands and they will get her better before too much longer. Hopefully she will gain much strength while she is in the hospital. We will keep her in our thoughts and prayers as she makes this recovery. Lisa

Thanks for the update.  Candace is in the best place she can be...  You do not get much rest in hospitals, but you do get the care needed.  I know all will be better soon.

Thank you for the update. I will pray for her rapid healing and for her strength to come back. I will also pray for your strength. I know you a worried about your child. If good wishes would heal she would be home already. But I do believe in prayer and she has them coming her way. She will get her perky back. God Bless Myrtis

Rena', Thank you so much for letting us know how Candice is doing.  She has been on my mind all day and I am so glad to hear that she is responding to treatment.  I will continue to pray for her and for you.  Mothers are such a blessing! Suzanne

I'm soooo verrryyyyy glad to hear that Candice (and you) are doing better. She sounded weak and tired when I spoke with her earlier, but she also said that she thought she was "turning the corner."  Sorry to hear that she had a "spill." I'm sure it will take some time for her to regain her strength and I know that she's getting good care at the hospital ... You are making sure of that!
