Not for the faint of heart...
...But absolutely fascinating!
Here is a link to a website that shows a live videocast of a laparoscopic Roux en Y bypass surgery! I do want to warn you, there is no sugar-coating of any of the procedure, so if you can't handle graphic detail, you might want to pass on this one.

For anyone who is interested,

I watched the procedure that Duke has since I was having them do my surgery. Here is the link to their video.
Enjoy!

Thanks for thinking of me Annie! I am ok. I keep myself busy with preparations and try to keep my thoughts in the day. Of course all this talk here about complications tempts my mind to wander to darker realms, but I know that treatment is available for any complications.
My surgeon expects to release me on Wednesday with no drains, so I should be ok. I have a friend staying with me for a few days after the surgery, and I am hoping I will be able to make it to Sheila's on the 28th. Will you be there?
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and are feeling better. Nothing is worse than the kind of pain you have been undergoing. Take good care. (((((((((((Annie)))))))))))))))
