Hey GIrl,

Welcome!  I am just down the road from you in Beaufort.  I hope you are considering ECU Pitt Hospital.  Two groups up there that were at one time together, Brody School of Medicine Gastric and Southern Surgical in my opinion are Both the best around.  Hey its where this proceedure all started and they trained under the man himself.  If you haven't seen Greenville you will be amazed  ECU is a large Medical school among other things and is currently expanding even more.  Their New Cardiology center when it is done will be one of if not the best on the East Coast!  They have a new Science study Building going up that will house 32 scientist.  I met one of the nurses who asked me to be involved in a study during this who gastric by pass stuff.  She is convience that they will find a breakthrough in Diabites there in relation to this procedure.  In NC if things are bad you get life flighted to two places, 1-ECU Pitt or 2-Duke.  ECU is only an hour from ya.  Saw you where from DC.  WHat part.  I grew up and still have family in VIenna, VA.
