starting the fight

Hi everyone- New to OH.  I recently received my denial letter from BCBSNC.  My BMI was below 40 at times, so now I am trying to get other documents together to show prior to dr. visits it was above 40.  Iam writing my appeal letter, so any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

I tried to find Wendy by doing a search for lookin2lose.  Three members came up but I don't believe any where her.  Is her member name correct?  thanks

Howdy!  Check out the ins board.  You'll find many ideas there.  Also, you may want to post on the main board with the name of your ins in the topic line.  Make sure to include exactly why you were denied.   That way you can get any input from folks with the same ins.  I found that making a freind of someone at the cust ser number for my ins helped a lot.   I called, talked to her, got her extension and every time I called I asked for her.  Having someone on the inside to help can make a huge difference!

I cannot help you with the insurance denial, but I did want to say welcome to the board!
