Update on Joy and me!

I spoke to Joy today... her surgery went well. She said she woke up in a bit of pain yesterday but was up and walking today and feeling much better. She should be headed home tomorrow and is looking forward to getting out of the hospital! As for me... I have been in Arizona since Friday... it is freaking HOT here... been a lovely 110 the entire trip so far :-) I thank the lord that I am not the weight I was this time last year... I would be suffering greatly! Tomorrow we are headed to the Grand Canyon.. cannot wait! Anyways.... hope all is well back in NC... not looking forward to vacation ending but definately looking forward to getting back home!

Thanks for updating us on Joy!  Glad she is doing well.   Wow ~ Arizona!!  That's awesome!  Enjoy the Grand Canyon and try to stay cool!!!  Have a safe trip home!

Glad to hear you are having fun. My DH and I went there two years ago. Told him if I get this surgery ...we are going back so I can ride the mules down into the canyon. Be careful of the over friendly squirrells . Have fun, Myrtis            .
