bye bye gall bladder

Just wanted to let you all know, on Monday July 23rd I will be going under the knife to get my stoned filled gall bladder removed. I have been in lots of pain on my right side so I made a appointment with Dr Melkonian , and he said " yep lets take her out " soooooooooooooo Monday around 8 am in Presbyterian uptown Pug Mom will be a few more ounces lighter :) Keep me in your prayers Allison

Hi Allison, youwill be just fine. I assume he wil be doing it by laparoscopy. I had mine taken out in 1981, it was right be for the lap  procedure came out so, I have a scare about 10 inchs long. Maureen

I'm sure you will feel much better once that nasty thing is outta there!!!  Mine was really bad and so my surgeon took it out when he did my RNY last week.  I can tell a difference already in how my right side feels!  Good luck to you!!

hey i have a lot of pain also on my right side just below my rib cage the pai is so bad and sharp , if i bend over or try climb staires, or turn it hurts so bad
