One More Day!

I cannot believe the time is finally here.  WOW.  I have been waking up on and off all night and just keep saying prayers to help in keeping myself calm.  I think this tight feeling in my chest is a mixture of excitement/anxiety/maybe a little bit of fear.  I have had 3 other surgeries in my lifetime and have done extremely well each time.  But this time I just feel anxious.  I bet it is the idea of being a "looser".   My SIL, DD and I are going to see "The Lion King" in Charlotte today.  I am excited about that too.    We have to be at CMC-Mercy at 5:30 in the morining.  I am betting that I will not sleep a wink tonight.   Your prayers are certainly appreciated!

Hey Jenn, I have been saying prayers for you and you will do just fine. Do you have everything packet for your trip. Don't forget  the non-skid footies for when you walk the halls. Maureen

You are going to do great!!!!  The anxiety is completely normal ~ you are about to undergo a major transformation!!!  But everything will be fine.  I feel 110% better today than I did last week!!  It is just amazing to me!!!   Sounds like you are keeping yourself busy today and that's a good thing!!!  I have been thinking of you often this weekend and will send up extra prayers for you tomorrow!!  Is someone going to update us on how things go for you tomorrow? Hugs, Donna

To be quite honest, this day has FLOWN by.  I just got in from Charlotte about an hour ago.  I need to pack for the girls and myself and get them over to my in-laws.  So, the busy continues.  :)   I am so glad to hear you are feeling well.  And all of those prayers are certainly appreciated!   I am taking my laptop to the hospital, so I may be awake enough to update tomorrow afteroon.  If not, Maureen and Dana are coming by at some point, so either of them are welcome to let you all know how I am doing.  :)

Good luck tomorrow. I know everything will be fine. Jusst be prepared for some yuckie days but remember that it all passes and before you know it you will feel a great deal better. I hit two weeks tomorrow and feel pretty normal for the most part. Keep that in sight. Don't try and rush things and give your body time to heal. Walk when you can but again don't rush things and don't beat yourself up if you don't bounce back as quickly as your head says you should. People all heal at different rates. You will be fine. See you on the loser's bench. Lisa
