Protien Powders

Question guys... what is your favorite protien powder? I have been using the chocolate EAS from Sam's and I really like it.. but I AM SICK OF CHOCOLATE. LOL I need suggestions. I went to GNC today and was not impressed at all. My doctor prefers 100% Whey Protien Isolate powders or blends.. which have the isolate and the concentrate. :D Thanks for your help! 2 days and counting!!!

Jenn- I LOVED the variety pack- it was $80 for 70 different , individual samples. The individual bottles are great- can take to work, pack for a weekend, etc. I loved the variety too- Pina Colada, Choc Coconut, Cappaciuno, etc....I'm giving Suzanne some flavors this week that did not appeal to me. I think a little over $1/ protein meal and the variety just can't be beat. I'm still drinking protein shakes every morning ( fickle ole' band is tight in the mornings) and I'm thinking about ordering another variety pack just to spice up the taste buds. BioChems 100% Whey Protein in Vanilla was my fav.... I bought at EarthFare for about $15 a can :)

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I did that today. Was not bad at all. I mixed Unjury Unflavored with Chicken Broth.. it was quite decent.

Jenn, When I was in Vitamin World this weekend, I met someone who'd had RNY in November. She recommended a liquid protein called New Whey. It comes in various flavors like Blue Raspberry, Orange and Fruit Punch. It comes in a bottle that looks like a test tube and it has 42 gm of protein! I haven't actually tried it, but I can let you know more tomorrow, after my surgery. BTW... Vitamin World in Morrisville is having a 50% off sale of everything because they're closing that store. The vials were 3.50 and 1/2 price! Best of luck to you tomorrow. I will be thinking of you, when I'm not sedated that is!
