Well Pug Mom's ol gallbladder has given up. Dr Melkonian has scheduled to remove it on July 23rd, and I can't hardly wait, my gut is killing me. Otherwise all is well, and I want to wish you all a great weekend . Allison

Hi Allison, I am so sorry you aren't feeling well!  My best friend had her gall bladder out in March and she is fantastic now.  Please know I will be praying for you! Diane

"Oh, the gall of that bladder!" Nice to see your face again. Good luck with your surgery. My friend also had hers out in December...no biggie. :O) Mary Ann

I had mine out in 1979 the old way, with the scar to prove it. No matter how thin I get after surg, no bikini for me!  I was very glad when it was over, no more pains, hurting, or feel like a alien is trying to make it's way out of your stomach. The only prob. I have from it is dumping, but I've learned to live with that for over 25 years.  Good luck, you'll be glad you've done it.

Allison, You will feel a million times better once your GB is gone! I recovered relatively quickly from mine which was about a month ago. I bruised a bit, but was up and about very quickly afterwards. Even went to work two days later. Best of luck and hope you feel better soon! -Chareen
