Yes, I have started using smaller bowls and plates too.  It helps, it really does.  Dr. Farrell told me that I don't have to measure anymore but I still do and using the smaller plates and bowls makes the mind believe that I am eating larger portions when I am not.  Funny how we have to kid ourselves sometimes isn't it. I don't think that I really need to fear over eating because you really do feel it when you have had enough and it usually before I finish what I have measured out.  Eating slowly is the key.  Good luck to all.  E

I have decided that after my wls (if it ever happens) I will eat my 2oz of food out of fine china. (desert plates etc). If I am going to learn to eat small portions a least they can look elegant. Right now I eat off paper plates.......!!!!!!!  I'mmmmmmmmm READy.

I'm with you! After I get settled in with the idea, I want the food to look good and  we all deserve something  specially what we are going through.
