OH Support Group

Does anyone know if there is an OH support group in the Jacksonville area?  Thanks!

Sheryl, I live in Jacksonville as far as I know there is not one. You know, we should start one! There are few people in our area on OH. What do you think? Linda

We didn't have one in the Raleigh area so that's what we are doing. I'm even taking the support group leadership training.

There are a LOT of us in the Jacksonville area!!! I actually went to a support group at Onslow Memorial back in June but I was never told if it was a regular occurence or just that one time because they had so many in the area that wanted to sign up. People even drove up from Wilmington to attend (not that Wilmington is that far) so yes thats a great idea!

Barb, Tell me more about this support group leadership training. I'd be interested in doing something like that. Linda

Thanks for the replies...  When I lived here before (I moved 6 weeks after WLS) there was a group who met at Onslow Memorial but I guess they've disbanned.  Now I'm back and I'd be interested in going but wouldn't be able to lead it since I work weird hours (I'm a 911 dispatcher).   Please keep me posted if anyone starts one.  I really need the support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Thanks again!
