people talking about weight loss
Today I managed to cook 19lbs of strip steaks for my demo everyone who had some liked them.
While I was cooking away on The George Forman Grill two women planted themselves in front of my station and started talking about weight loss and excersise. I felt sorta uncomfortable at first but then just got really busy cooking.
I really wanted to go up to them and tell them I am a true blue dieter and I can really tell you lots of things about weight loss.
I kept my mouth shut and contiinued cooking.
Sometimes when situations like this happen near me I sorta take it personal.

Hi Annie,
Where was your demo? It sure sounds like a lot of fun! Sometimes folks do and say things without thinking, others unfortunately, do it intentionally. I know I am super sensitive if I feel like someone is criticizing my weight or insinuating that losing weight is just "that simple." It certainly is not or I would never have weighed 275 lbs! I didn't become overweight until I hit 40. I know the mentality of "how could that happen?" I believe the Lord took me down this road to give me more understanding. I am a much kinder person now and very sensitive to the feelings of others. And I am thankful for that. I see folks (like in Walmart) who are SMO, walking with their heads down, not wanting to see the looks, the heads shaking or mean spirit of others. I honestly believe folks react that way because their are scared out of their wits that it could happen to them! I always take a moment to speak a kind word, a touch or an acknowledged smile go so much further into the hearts than criticism. God bless you on your journey Annie. You have the very best surgeon in the world!

I look forward to it.
I will be over near the grocery section near the meat department.
We usally break for lunch at 1:30 and go sit in the Food Court in Target and if the other demo people are there they are good friends and have suporrted me all the way about the surgery.
In fact one of my friends brother in law named Dwight is a patient of Dr. Farrel's he is almost a year out and is doing great.
