Is there anyone from the Burlington Gramham area

Just wondering if any one was from my area.  I'm new to the form and dont know anyone yet.  Also tring to make some new friend to have on my journey. thanks  Pam

Hi Pam,      Welcome to the boards. I am not froem your area but you will meet great people on here. I don't know about support meetings in your area but alot of the doctor's have them now, so that may be a good way to meet local people. But local or not...there are super people with lots of great information who will gladly walk this journey with you. You are definitely not alone. Lisa

Hi I am from the Eden area, not too far from Burlington. How far are u in this process? I see that your surgeons are duke weigh loss. I am going to the seminiar next Friday. Good luck

I'm moving along and will have my surgery 7/26/07  This coming monday, I will meet my surgeon so I'm excited about that. I went to the seminiar a couple of times, once for me and then with someone else. You will recieve a lot of info and most of your questions will be answered. My surgeon is Dana Portenier Pam
