Surgery at Rex!!!!!
Hey all, I went in to see Dr. Moran for my post-op visit yesterday, and found out that he is going to be able to perform his surgery at Rex again, possibly by the end of the month!
Good for all the Raleigh area people! Wish I was able to go that close, but I can't complain about the care I received at FRMH.

Glad to hear your doing good. I had my post-op yesterday also, it was at 9:30, when was yours? I fully agree with you on the wonderful care at FRMH, they were the best!
Did Dr. Moran say if he will still be doing any at FRMH once he starts at Rex?
I had RNY on the 26th, I have to go back for a 3 week pre-op.

I had my scheduled for 11:30, although they did not call me bac****il 12:25! They were slammed. I think it was because of the holiday.
I met a gal there who had her appt. at 9:30 also, and she left and got home and there was a message on her machine that she left without finishing! So she had to come back! LOL She was funny,
Wow, I wonder what she didn't finish. I think a lot of the problem was they had a new, not sure she's a nurse, young girl in training. She's the one who called me back and did my weight, but did not know how to use the BMI function on the scale.
Then when we got into the room, she opened up my records and said to me
"what are you here for today"??????? I would have thought she would have known that! I just looked over at my husband and just shook my head. Do you have to go back in 3 week?

LOL, same here! I had her too. By the time I got there, she knew how to use the BMI on the scale! She also asked me what I was there for! And she said, "Oh, you already had surgery?"
When they called that gal back, she came out pretty quick with her new blue folder. I said "Oh, you left without your BLUE FOLDER! That is your bible for the next 2 months." We had a big laugh.
No, I don't go back for 5 weeks, for my first fill.
