Good evening Ladies, I'm back, hopefully for good this time.  I had an awful weekend back in the hospital due to some internal bleed that Dr. Farrell seems to think was an ulcer caused by a staple or stitch from surgery.  He stopped a scope that was scheduled for Monday morning because he said that it would be too dangerous so soon after my RNY.  So they opted to treat this like an ulcer and sent me home with some melt-in-your-mouth Nexium.  The idea is that the Nexium will heal the ulcer and all will be well without any nasty scope down my throat.  Dr. Farrell said that we still might have to scope me in the future but that the more time we can buy the more I'll be healed and the less dangerous that will be...that works for me...so he waved goodbye and sent me home with a prescription for Nexium and an appointment at his office on the 9th.   So, how was your weekend?  E

Hi Ethel! I am so very glad you are home and feeling better.  I know you are in Dr. Farrell's competent hands and that is comforting to me.  I pray for your healng and hopefully I will see you at the next support group meeting.  It won't be until August.  We will be so skinny we won't know each other! Blessings, Diane
