Update on Ethel A.

Hi All -

Just wanted to post a quick update on Ethel. She's been admitted to UNC Chapel Hill and is resting comfortably. While she had a low blood count when she was admitted to the hospital, they decided to hold off on transfusing her ... She's definitely glad about that. The did start her on IV fluids and she's feeling better. There's no news yet as to what may have caused the internal bleeding.

I told her that we were all worried about her ... She asked that I let everyone know that she's doing fine and appreciates the concern and prayers.

Wendy she mentioned how appreciative she was regarding your questions and the advise to call RE; having an emergency.

Thank you Barb, I have been wondering about her.  I sure hope everythings ok.

Glad to hear she's doing better and in the hospital. Sometimes it's hard to beleive something is going wrong with us.  We all try to be so tough. Healing thoughts to Ethel.

Not glad to hear Ethel is having some issues but glad she is in the hospital where they can take care of her and figure out what is going on. Hopefully this is just a small thing and she will be home soon. Thank you so much for letting us know. Today, I drove to Florence, SC and back and was thinking about her on the drive.   Lisa

Thank you so much for sharing the update with us, Barb.  Ethel has been on my mind and in my prayers constantly since her last post.  Thank goodness she didn't delay in seeking help. Suzanne

Thanks for keeping us updated.  When you talk with her again, please let her know that we are keeping her in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.  I hope it is nothing real serious and they are able to get her back on her feet soon. Thanks Barb! Donna
