I'm home and all went well

Hello everyone, I'm home and doing just great, just wish I could sleep better at night! Everything went well with my surgery on Tuesday. I'm still a little tired, but doing my best to get in all my fluids for the day. My husband took me to Target today and I walked for about 20 minutes around the store just to get in a walk. It gets pretty boring just walking the house, to humid to walk outside. Thank you everyone for all the well wishes and prayers, I will keep up with my posts to stay in touch. Mary Pat

Mary Pat, So glad to hear your doing well! You walked throught TARGET and didn't shop? Fess up - LOL I have a hard time walking into a store and not buying something. Target was a safe bet, stay away from WallyWorld, your bound to get run over there! LOL Best Wishes!

Wendy, I've just been trying to catch up on some posts and saw yours where you said you got a denial letter from the insurance co. That just stinks!!! I'm not sure but I think you have to have a BMI of 40 or above or a BMI of 35 with co-morbidities. I'd ask Janell, see what she says and maybe she knows a way around the process. Most insurance companies stink. Let me know what she says.. Best of Luck! Mary Pat

Mary Pat, Great to hear your good news! I feel you on the waking.... My house keeps getting smaller and it is so hot out! I had my surgery yesterday, and am very happy so far! Lori

Lori, Congrats on your Banding, wow I didn't know that you come home the same day as the surgery with the Band. I live on the far side of Garner, so we're probably not to far from each other. If you need anything just let me know. Do you have to do the 1 week clear liquid diet like I do? Mary Pat

Mary Pat, Yes, one week of clear, then I can start Protien, then weeks 3 and 4 mushies. Glad to hear I have another close "surgery buddy"! We will all get together sometime! Lori
