Wait Wait and wait some MORE

I do not have a waiting personality. I have jumped through all the hoops.  But still waiting on Dr. to look at old surgery records.  He thinks I may have a new hernia. Lets do a CT scann and see whats going on. My old records are just that, old records. I know be patient........he is just trying to make sure my case is a success. Buttttttt I hate not knowing......I want to Gi-er-done. I am so afraid he will not want to do it........or want the hernia done  before wls.  I am 53 and times a waist'in.   Ok I'm done venting... I'm really not mad at anyone just want to be on the loosing team. And that means being a winner!!!! I would love to be that kind of winner.

I know exactly how you feel.  I am the most impatient person I know.  When I want something, I want it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!   But when you finally do reach your destination, you will see that all this waiting is so very well worth it.  Hang in there and vent all you want to.  That's what we are all here for!!  Hugs, Donna

Thanks for the encouragement. The waiting would not be quite so bad if I just knew it was possible. I have always been active even with the weight until 2001. I have ridden horses all my life till then.That is my one passion,,....sometimes when I see my daughters ride off on horseback it brings tears to my eyes. I have a lot of activities I want to get on with but this weight holds me back. This wls would give me my life back.  Don,t get the violine out I'm done complaining... at least for now.  I hope your surgery brings you the pleasures of life that you are missing also. Even just a healthy body is a pleasure.  Another week 1/2 and you will be on that road.  Best wishes to you. Myrtis 

I wish you much success in your loss.  I have never been successful in losing , on my own, but hopefully Lapband will be my light at the end of this long, long tunnel.

You're right about the "bugging" them.  I called about every other day.  Guess they were tired of hearing from me.  Now, I'm waiting for the scheduled day of surgery.

I do so understand.  I have been waiting for a looooong time  for the doctor to write off on my chart.  i am trying to practice patience, but Job was better at it than I am.  By the way, the doctor who will be doing my LapBand is Dr. Bauman also.  How about that?   Barbara

Have you got all the task listed done?  All I am missing is the upper GI and a possible CT scan for the hernia but everything has not been cleared on my patient page.  I hope things move along for you. It sounds like you are much closer than I. Good Luck
