Lori is out of surgery and recovering well

I just spoke with Lori's husband Jay and he said that she is still in recovery and he hasn't been able to see her yet. He expects her to be ready to go home sometime mid-afternoon. Her go home time is really dependent on how she's feeling.

Amazing that they can do this as an out-patient procedure!

Hi Barb, This is wonderful news!   Goodness I can't imagine going home the same day!  It took me 2 days just to get over the anesthesia.  I pray she has lots of good help at home.   Diane

The reason she's going home the same day is that she is having a lap-band done.

I still find it amazing though.

Thanks Barb............I have thought about her all morning......I'm sure everything went well........My surgery was at 9:30 am also and I was home by 5:30.   I'm so excited for her!!!!  ~Sarah~
