Surgery July 2! ...SISTERS...

  Hey everyone - I wanted to introduce myself and my sister (jschuner), we are having RNY surgery on July 2.  We have both lurked around these boards for a while and I thought we should officially join in.  We are really excited about our new life which is right around the corner. We started our 2 week  liquid diet last Monday, June 18th and we are so thankful we have each other right now!  We think we are so blessed to have the opprotunity to begin this journey together!

Jenny and Julie, I think it is so neat that you are doing this together. I will be watching to see how you do and I will be praying for a easy surgery and fast recovery for both of you. Beth

Wonderful Ideal doing it together . I met a lady on the board last year a few months before surgery ( Misty aka Jamey ) we became very good buddies and it really hepled sharing with each other this and that, we both had Melkonian ( I think the greatest doc ) and we both used the same nuritionst ( Alyson Rutledge best in the world ) ,, we even had the same hospital room , my surgery was one week before hers.   I will tell you, the 2 week liquid diet was the worst part for me , once I had surgery I was fine, just hang in there . And Welcome you both to the loser bench.

Thanks to everyone for the support! We know how blessed we are to have each other. We work together and live together and I know it has been a bit easier on us to have each other to lean on. Please keep us in your prayers.

Welcome to you both. I will be having surgery in Fayetteville on the 2nd as well. Luckily my doc doesn't require the liquid beforehand. I guess I will get my taste of that soon enough. Best of luck to you two. Guess we will be coming out on the 4th which will be our new Independence day! Lisa
