Hi everyone,  just wanted to introduce myself as the newbie on the block.  I've been reading for a while and feel that I know a lot of you already.  I'm having Lap RNY tomorrow, June 26, at Franklin Regional with Dr. Moran.  I'm a bundle of nerves right now, but excited at the same time.  I hope to be joining ya'll at the next group support meeting.   Mary Pat

I wish you the best of luck Mary Pat. Joe,  First I want to say Congratulations you look awesome  and really you do have so much to be proud of. I read some of  your story, and checked out your pictures.  The majority of the folks that post are women, so when I see a man post and they have the courage to tell their story, I don't know  I just think it's great.  Anyway, I have one question for you if you don't mind.   I noticed that in some of your pictures you had hair, and in some you are completely bald, did you shave your head because of hair loss due to WLS?   I just told my Husband the other day that when I have this surgery that some of my hair may fall out,  he was a little surprised by that...LOL and I told him that it wouldn't be forever and I didn't care about that, it will grow back!  LOL    Thanks and have a great day Oh and by the way~ I happen to think bald is beautiful!  It looks good on you!
