I'm Back!!!!

 

Hello everyone! I have to say thank you for all your kind words and prayers for my uncle.  He had a massive heart attack on Friday at work and was rushed to the hospital.  Things didn't look good on Friday but he stabilized in the night on Friday.  He has quite a road ahead of him but he is in a regular room now and things look positive.  I can not express how encouraging to know that everyone here was praying for my family.  Also, I had a great update from Barbara about Saturday's meet up.  I am regretful that I missed the first one but appreciate everyone’s understanding.  I look forward to getting together with the group in July.   By that time, I will be a looser with the rest of ya!!  Thank you Barbara and Wendy for taking lead in such short notice.  I appreciate all your encouragement and support. 

This week is a crazy week!  I have 30k in revenue to bring in, my pre-op appointment with Dr. Mitchell in Pinehurst (Wednesday) and my EDG is on Friday in Pinehurst.  I know that "it is what it is" but life is frantic right now.  I am ready to take a rest and catch up on my "nesting" next week before my surgery.   Thanks again for everyone's support.  This on-line community has taken such a special place in my life and I appreciate what each of you brings here. I'm glad to hear that your uncle is out of the woods, even if he has a long road to walk as he returns to good health.

I know that you will be able to do what you need to do to meet your goal. I'm sure that having to focus on that and taking care of your pre-op appointment will actually help the time fly by.

When you get a chance to catch your breath, give me a call and I'll talk to you about the Wilmington meet-up we are looking at.

Welcome back Candice.  I'm sorry you didn't get to the meet n greet on Saturday, but it was a blessing that you were able to be there with your family.  We are all looking forward to meeting you at the next event.  I'm so glad to hear your Uncle's doing better. Take care. Ellen

Candice, Hope your Uncle will continue to improve.  I, too, am looking forward to meeting everyone in July.  I know what you mean about frantic weeks.  I seem to thrive on them!  Your pre-op appt. will not take long, if it is like mine and the EDG was so easy.  I should be in the recovery room while you are in LA-LA land for your test.  Don't forget the US Women's open is in Pinehurst this week and may make for more traffic in and out, so you may want to allow a little extra time. Glad to hear that crisis has improved.  Now you can start to focus on you.  I regret that I was unable to make Saturday's meetign as well.  Please let meknow when the July meeting is.  I would love to meet you all. Alane
