Should I tell you? You won't believe me.....

OK here it is..........sad but true! My daughter called while we were on our way back from the lake. "Mom..(long pause)..everyone is OK but, a girl ran into me on my way to work. Another accident...Amanda is Ok and so is the other girl. The girl pulled right out in front of her(coming toward her) and clipped her on the front passenger corner and sent her spinning across the road. Thank God noboby was coming from the other direction. Her car was supposed to go in this week after I got my car back from our accident (May12) She had a fender bender 2 weeks ago (her fault) ran into a lady coming out of WallyWorld.  The woman started to go and then stopped suddenly - Amanda hit her.  I'm learning A LOT more than I care to know about NC accident reporting. Like no matter who caused the accident if you hit some one from behind it's your fault - no matter what. Crazy! Any how, they say bad things happen in 3's ....well, that's it we're done with car accidents in our family... knocked them all out in just over a month..LOL Gotta laugh 'cuz it's just too damn unreal. Just thought I'd share and get a little venting out.

We had a similar experience when our sons started driving. Good news is that no more accidents since.

Parenting teens ... even good ones can cause a few grey hairs.

This to shall pass. I'm glad everyone is okay.

Barb - More than a few! She a good girl, It's just I think kids in her generaration take to much for granted and much more careless about things.....times have changed soooo much from my time growing up! I didn't mention that she got 2 speeding tickets in less than 3months, did I? Well, we had to get a lawyer for the second one because they would have taken her license away....that we most certainly had HER pay for! Let her see how it feels to give away 350$ of your hard earned cash Hope she learned the speeding lesson!  Infact you know what, I should make her pay for my next coloring since she the one giving me all of the gray hair! LOL I'm not that mean! Wendy

Wendy, So glad everyone was okay. My oldest son gave me a few gray hairs too. He wrecked one pick up truck on an icy road one night after leaving his girlfriend's house. Then he got T boned by and elderly driver coming home from college one day. Now he is a police officer and was showing me a video of a chase he was involved in recently with very high speeds. Oh Yeah! Show that to your mama! Smart boy! And he is 34 years old. You would think he would know better. Beth

Beth - I hope that her driving luck/skills increase with age! I don't want those type of calls anymore! Glad to hear that your son made it through his younger years! But, why in the heck is he still scaring the ... out of you? LOL!
