Moving

I can't wait to move to the Surf City area, I am freezing my butt off in this central air, my dad keeps it on, and to get down there and go to school and meet new guys and people, being 2 miles from the beach and 2 miles from the Marine base I can't wait haha, have a wonderful weekend everyone Becky

Hi all you beach folks or others wanting to come to the beach- I had such a good time at the Charlotte WLS get together, I am planning one for Sat 7/28 at 6pm at my home in Wilmington. Will do potluck dinner- everyone bring something healthy and WLS friendly and the get together is open to all pre-op folks and post ops. Please feel free to bring DH or DW or SO.Come one, come all. I live in the Monkey Junction area of Wilmington ( southern area). I'll be glad to send out directions as the event daws near. Let's meet, eat ( a lil) and get to know each other! Sheila

Welcome Rebecca, Let us know when you make the move and if you need anything. I'm about a 30 mn. drive north of surf city, since they've closed the back gate, you'll find out what that means when you get here.  It's kind of tourist season there now so it's crazy, but once they go, you've got a nice peaceful town.
