I bought a Magic Bullet, I love it, I used it before surgery for protein shakes and stuff, am using it for the puree stage now, and can see that I will use it for a long time for just normal stuff.  I think it will make great seafood salad, etc.  I love it a ton!

Lori - Finding something on clearance like that a WallyWorld by me would be equivilent to winning the lottery..........which I didnt this week, but now it's up to 93 or 96 million One of these days!

I'm looking at blenders & food processers too, and I know target it a little cheaper, plus you might get it on sale.  I, however, queen of the clearance rack, will not buy hardly ANYTHING unless it is on sale, clearance, or I can validate it 100%, and even at that I hate to come off the almighty dollar.  I would really love to buy the bullet, however I just can't do it.......I can see myself going to Wal Mart too, for a blender. My son broke my old one doing iceys or some science experiment.  This time I will get a glass jar and make sure it has enough power for ice!  ~~~~~~~Hugs, Nancy

For a blender, I can't say anything bad about my Oster! I've had it for years and have never had a problem! I've burned out quite a few cheeper modles that just couldnt keep up with my frozen summer "drinks" LOL! This baby is great! Makes the smoothest margaritias..I mean healthy frozen strawberry smoothies..LOL!

I second the frozen margaritias..I mean healthy frozen strawberry smoothies..LOL! By the way, I bought "The Bullet" (Magic Bullet) off of Amazon for $43.00.  I selected free shipping and received it in the matter of two days.  I love it for everything.  I don't chop onions or garlic anymore, or grate cheese, etc.  I know that it is also going to save my life during the "pureed" phase post op.  But I too LOVE a lot of frozen drinks, so it was a great investment for me.

My magic bullet was wonderful during my early stages, I paid 59.00 for it and think it was worth every penny. I have sinced used it to grind up fruit for my foster baby, otherwise I never use it anymore. If you lived close to me I would just let you borrow mine, I was thinking about selling it but decided I should keep it ( ok I am a pack rat ) . Anyways, I would suggest buy the bullet, it does cost a bit more but really does a super job, besides you will need simple in your life getting used to your new tummy.

take care
